Travellers' Choice
Situated in a delightful area of Seville, in the picturesque and authentic Barrio de Santa Cruz, the hotel is an attractive, converted manor house dating back to the 16th century. The Barrio de Santa Cruz is a charming area of the city with narrow, cobbled streets dotted with orange tree-lines plazas and centrally located within walking distance of many of the major attractions, such as the cathedral and the Alcazar. The hotel has a pleasing traditional patio-courtyard, onto which many of the rooms look out and where you can sit out and enjoy the peaceful ambience. There is also a popular restaurant that serves traditional Andalusian and Mediterranean cuisine.

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An excellent hotel, ideally situated, super friendly staff. Very charming patio and each bedroom is carefully designed. Good hot showers and very good bedlinen. Helpful taxi organisation for very early flights. I'd go back as soon as possible!

The Hotel Rey Moro was a lovely spot to spend a week in Seville. The location is convenient to the sights in the old city. It is close to lots of bars and restaurants but is on a quiet street so the nights are peaceful. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff very helpful.

We stayed here for 4 nights in February. The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring the top attractions in Seville. We booked a standard double which compared to many small doubles was really large and spacious. We stayed in room 28 which was lovely, but a little noisy from the passing ‘traffic’. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Comfortable, friendly, perfectly situated, excellent breakfast. This was our second stay at this hotel and if we are lucky enough to visit Seville again, it will will be our choice again. Spotlessly clean and just a little quirky with a beautiful courtyard.

The room was just perfect We had the one at the last floor with a huge balcony The location is just perfect to visit the city, everything is just at a short walking distance The Santa Cruz area is the best for restaurants and bars. The room was super clean and silent Would definitely recommend this accommodation for a visit in the beautiful city of Seville!!

This is the freindliest and most helpful hotel I have ever stayed in, after travelling 30+ countrys this one touched me. I whole heartedly recommend it to everyone. Staff are really nice and accomadating, rooms are clean, and beside being central in a noisy location my room was peaceful and quiet. Hot tib on the roof was also amazing along with the food served here

There is so much I loved about this hotel experience that I don’t know where to begin! The hotel itself is charming. The rooms are immaculate and quiet with every amenity and convenience. But the best thing about it was the staff. They all frequently went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable from finding adaptors for us to providing free coffee at 6 am while we waited for our cab, and in a million other ways showing true hospitality, kindness, and generosity. We probably tried their patience but they were never anything but warm and helpful. Oh, and the breakfasts and dinners were fabulous. We almost never dine in the hotel when we travel but we had dinner there two or three times it was so good. I truly miss the hotel and staff and food and Seville!

We stayed in Sevilla for three nights and the hotel was wonderful. Its location in the heart of Barrio Santa Cruz is very convenient to all the major attractions in Sevilla. It also seemed to be in a quieter location, quieter being a relative term in this neighborhood, as there are a few restaurants next to the hotel. We arrived into Sevilla via train and walked to the hotel as the taxi queue was very long. It took us about 25 minutes. The elevator-served hotel has a small restaurant and a beautiful, shaded courtyard where breakfast is served. There is also a nice rooftop terrace. The rooms have air conditioning, which was very welcome each day given the abnormally hot weather we encountered in late September. Our room was a lovely corner room with lots of space, and a small table and chairs outside, which were usually in the shade. The hotel also had a few bicycles for guest use. Check-in was smooth and all the staff were friendly and welcoming during our stay. We highly recommend this hotel and hope to visit again in the future!
