Firstly on a late nigh arrival we were put in a room with no air con as there appeared to be no power to the controls. Hence we had to get all our stuff together & move rooms. The hotel management must have known the AC wasn't working before we arrived. When asked for my room number by a waitress... More

I recently stayed here for 4 nights on a city break. Despite being a good 20minute walk from the main tourist attractions of Seville the area is good with local bars and boutique shops. We arrived before the room was ready (11am) and the staff were very accomodating and useful, they also prioritised our room which was useful. The room... More

Yes this hotel is situated down a narrow side street. & dont be put off by the the general grubby look to the area. that said we only stayed for 2 days. reception staff were very good, the room we had was big and very modern, we were only B&B so didnt eat in the hotel. the hotel staff were... More

I stayed four nights in April 2013 in Hotel San Gil for a conference I was attending in one of the more 'corporate' five star hotels in Seville. The service at the front desk was excellent, it was really good value and the room was fantastic, overlooking orange trees in the courtyard. It was good to get away from the... More

Not a 4 start Hotel. i stayed here for a week and the rooms were clean, the stuff was also nice. However NEVER do the half pension - for food. ITs not good. They give you only two options everyday and these repeat in the week, Fridays and Mondays menu is almost the same and there is enough food. On... More

Fairly good location but most definitely not a 4 star hotel. The room was disappointing- 2 single beds instead of the double room we'd booked. Staff agreed to but failed to resolve the problem despite repeated requests. The room was dark and we were disturbed every morning and evening by noise. Similar to other reviews, we found the staff uninterested... More

This is a nice looking hotel, quite classy in fact. It is very difficult to find in narrow heavily parked streets but when we arrived, hot and tired, we thought this was to be a really good stay. Hotel states air conditioned rooms, but this is not true. Temperature outside was a very hot 37c, so on returning to hotel... More

In april 2012 we stayed three night in the old part of the hotel. Big room with french doors facing the courtyard - beautiful! It was a bit noise (and sigarettesmoke) from the courtyard/cafe during the day, so if you are reacting to any of that you should ask for a room in the new part of the hotel. But... More

The San Gil hotel was fresh and clean, the rooms were compact but light and airy and ideal for our short stay. Roof top swimming and we dined in the courtyard to the sound of flamenco guitar a wonderful experience, I will most certainly use this hotel again!

at 45 euros a night for an off season last minute stay this hotel was a real bargain. We actually liked the neighborhood, full of locals rather than tourists, and while the walk to the Alcazar isn't the most scenic, it is kinda fun. The down sides: there is little public space, the rooms are relatively small in the new... More
