Beautiful hotel with exceptionally good staff. Good location for walking around Seville. We booked a panoramic room and we were very pleased with the wonderful views across the Seville skyline. One warning. Be very careful getting in and out of the bath/shower. Very awkward and dangerous when slippery and wet

We have tried three different hotels in Sevilla from middle range ( Casa Romana ) to top level ( Alfonso XIII). This hotel offers the best value for money. It's ideally located, perfectly refurbished with a touch of elegance and design. 210 euros for a night, given the quality of services and rooms is really a good deal. The breakfeat... More

The good: in the center of the action. Good service, attractive lobby and surroundings. The bad: $34 per day parking. Challenging electronics in the room - 3 days and still couldn't understand the lighting. Small rooms. Square toilets (for round bottoms). Only available was a buffet far 20€.

Arrived by taxi to this lovely looking hotel, staff were very helpful, got to our room and yes the lighting is unusual but not that difficult to work out, and yes there is a flower smell (maybe Lillies) in the foyer but neither would put us off staying in this hotel, I think people are being a little pickie about... A very good, comfortable hotel. It is well located and has excellent service (particularly concierge). When arriving in your room, allow a half hour to figure out all the toggle switches. There were 22 toggle switches in our room! I don't mean that it was a problem but I thought it was funny that they got so carried away with... More

This hotel in the public spaces is really nice, the lobby is spectacular and the restaurant and bar are sufficiently nice. The service here was very good, the staff really has their eye on customer service. They did not go overboard with the "placing the hand over the heart" as I thought they would...just a few times, they are trained... More

Good hotel to stay at. Only because of their eagerness to be green, if no one is walking in the room, everything shuts off and one can not even charge the computer or iphone at night. concierge was very helpful since they were able to get us very close tickets to the last bullfight in Seville.

We loved our penthouse room in this great hotel and having a jacuzzi on the spacious terrace really made it special. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and we slept brilliantly although the other furniture in the room could be improved. Service was very helpful, they recommended some wonderful restaurants which really added to our stay and the location is just... More

Truly a grand hotel in a great location, not far from the Cathedral, between El Corte Ingles and the Via Reyes Catolicos which leads down to the river, and has several excellent places to eat. I first stayed at the Colon in 1993, and have been since. A gem of a hotel. Not quite Claridges which I use in London,... More

We arrived before midday on 27th April and were booked in and shown to our room within 20 minutes. We had a standard deluxe room on the fourth floor with a lovely view across the rooftops of the old city. We had wondered after reading several reviews if we should have booked a Red Level room, but this room was... More
