This hotel is located at the bottom of the hill from the Alhambra. The hotel had a stunningly beautiful outdoor swimming pool, fabulous Banos Arabes (treat yourself, they rock) and sleek, modern furnishings. The restaurant is excellent and the hotel is next door to another excellent restaurant (name eludes me at the moment).

We choose this hotel after reading some of the reviews on the tripadvisor. Our plane landed after 10 pm so we took a taxi to get to the hotel to save time. It cost 30 Euro. The hotel is very clean with really large room and large bathroom. The free breakfast is wonderful with plenty food, a lot of food... More

We chose this hotel because of the parking on site and its proximity coming from the east. As you come out of the tunnels on the ring road you can see the hotel directly in front of you. The hotel is large and modern with good, clean public areas. The rooms are spacious with large comfortable beds. There is a... More

Stayed here for one night when we were in Granada to visit the Alhambra palace. This hotel is ideally located with plenty of parking and it is very easy to find. (Very close to the exit from the motorway!) The rooms were very clean and spacious. Check-in/checkout was very smooth and if you ask the reception, they will order a... More

We chose this hotel because we could see it was close to the motorway and had underground parking. It is a large modern hotel which obviously caters for large coach parties of tourists. Our room was spacious with nice modern bathroom. Beds were very comfortable, it was quiet and we slept well. Bus stop two minutes walk from front entrance... More

The main reason we picked this was because of it's proximity to Alhambra - which is only a short taxi journey away, or a bus trip. The room was spacious and clean, everything was very proper. The hotel felt a bit like a corporate stop-over, so I wouldn't call it boutique, but it fit the bill. The breakfast was good... More

The hotel was most comfortable but the bedside lamps were so dim that we couldnt read at night. Breakfast was very average - one got the idea that it was catering for groups as the fruit was all canned, no fresh fruit which we had in abundance elsewhere in Spain. But any downfalls were outweighed by the amazing helpfulness of... More

This is a modern hotel on the outskirts of the city. Modern and functional and good value. The room was standard for a modern hotel mainly marketing to groups. Lighting level from the low wattage lamps was dreadful particularly as the weather was overcast. When we arrived, We had difficult getting into the underground parking lot because of the number... we stayed 3 nights in 2 rooms. The rooms are nice. The hotel has the looks of a bussiness hotel. The swimming pool was out-side but was closed. It opens only in summer time which was a pitty for the kids. Breakfast was ok. Only comment : the eggs were very good but cold so perhaps another system of keeping... More

I stayed at the Macia Real for two nights in April 2013. I chose the hotel because I was driving, and wanted somewhere easy to leave the car. I was extremely happy with everything about the hotel - the staff were uniformly excellent and helpful, the rooms were very clean, stylish and quiet, and breakfast (I didn't try dinner) was... More
