The common areas were nice and clean but our first room's A/C did not work and the temperatures rose into the 30'sC. Also, there was no ice trays in the in room refrigerator. The front desk personnel was not particularly friendly. Breakfast was hit-and-miss; at times there was a full complement of dishes, and other times numerous dishes were absent.

The public area of the Saray is absolutely gorgeous, with Arab-influenced decor. The pool? Spectacular. However, we all remarked on the unpleasant, almost fertilizer-type odor that was in the lobby for our 24-hour stay. Really took away from the ambiance. The room was fine and luckily that 'aroma' did not float upward.

Very nice hotel, beautiful interiors. Free WiFi. Rooms are good size, beautifully decorated, clean and many amenities. Bathroom is nice and clean. Staff are friendly and attentive to your needs. Location of hotel is quite a walk to the city center, shopping areas and city attractions, but it's ok for us, we like to walk. Food is very good and... More

Great hotel, not that close to central area but not so far away that it was annoying. Max 10min walk. Clean, tidy, good value and was perfect for our 2 night stay to laze about town and take in the Alhambra. Service desk very helpful booking taxis for us to get up there early in the morning. Just what we... More

Just got back from Granada...great hotel for the price we paid. Extremely clean..very few hotels in Spain allowed for 2 adults and 2 kids to sleep in one room comfortably but this one did. Other hotels required two rooms. It was a bit out of the way maybe a 10 min walk from central area but worth it for the... More

The rooms were very large for Europe. The hotel was VERY hard to locate finally someone drove ahead of us to show us the way! Confusion around breakfast offerings - a pleasant walk to downtown and back from Alhambra but on advice of hotel we took a taxi to the top. The hotel itself seemed run down but in the... More

The hotel is standard and perfectly adequate. It's located just across the river from the main commercial centre of Granada. A 10-minute taxi ride (around 10 euro for 4 of us) will deliver you to the Alhambra. Our real reservation was with the room. We'd booked a room with 3 beds for a family of four. We'd naively assumed that... More

Stayed at this hotel for one night and had a very nice well appointed modern room. Came to this hotel after my reservation was cancelled by their sister property for no fault of myself and they were trying to fix the problem by finding me a room during a very busy long weekend in spain.I was greeted by Mrs. Maria... We stayed here during a trip along southern Spain and it was our first destination. We used Tripadvisor to filter the best place by price, with a pool, near the city centre. And this is where Tripadvisor pointed us to. It's excellent. The pool was amazing with a bar and a sheltered area to get out of the heat in... More

God place, good rooms, but staff doesn't really care. When we checkedin, we were first directed to a "non-smoking" room with a heavy smell of tobacco. The stuff learned about that from us and started opening windows. The maid didn't refill toiletries because "stock expired". Claims to front desk helped. But the greatest inconvenience was presence of a Fire Brigade... More
