The location was fine because of it being "off season"; we heard revelers until 4 am on a cold Sat night in December. Staff were just okay, not helpful at all in regards to the parking. Definitely a hassle if you come by car. We couldn't find the parking they suggested in town on our GPS so parked in another.... More

it's a nice hotel, but the service is not worthed the price. rooms are pretty, the hotel is in an excellent position of the city, but there are many others in the same area offering better deals. actually the supposed "museum" hosted by the hotel doesnt make any good reason topay those 30/40 euros more compared to other hotels in... Stayed 2 nights Oct 6th & 7th 2011 in one of the best rooms?? (room 305) which faced the street. Big french windows opening onto view of Alhambra, lovely view! but the noise was unbelieveable. The street is supposed to be restricted for traffic, but the bus goes every 10 minutes until midnight. Car & bikes were using the road... More

3rd hotel on an 11 night trip around Andalucia. Very charming and old character hotel. Lovely room, oddly with no outside facing windows. Very clean, staff very helpful and friendly. Only slight on the stay was that the builders were in renovating an internal room. Also, the only window that didn't have curtains overlooked the lobby, the light stayed on... More

We stayed at this very charming small hotel after a terrible experience in another nearby similarly priced hotel the night before. This hotel was perfectly located right below the Alhambra, it has the feeling and decor of a 17th century Granada home, the cleanliness was great, and the kind Inmaculada, front desk attendant, was very helpful, kind and polite. I... More

stayed here for our honeymoon and loved it. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Most spoke english and were happy to help find restaurants, etc. We booked a flamenco show through them and they gave us the option of 3 (but recommended one). We went to the recommended show and it was amazing. Also, our room had a jacuzzi/hydro... More

Very small hotel (only five rooms) but had what we needed to be comfortable. We could see the Alhambra out our window, and even took a picture of the hotel from the Alhambra when we toured it. More than ample space for luggage in the breezeway between our bedroom and the bathroom. Over sized bathroom. Very convenient to walk to... More

The hotel was in a good location and the room was clean and large. It looked much nicer on the website. It was not a four star hotel, three at the most. Staff didn't speak English well and it was annoying having to go through the other hotel to get to room at night. Stay at the Hotel Casa 1800... More

A lack of reviews on Tripadvisor and other websites made me a little nervous when booking this hotel. But I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and beauty of this gem of a hotel. The hotel is classed as a museum/hotel which meant that it had historic value. It was built in the 16th Century and has some ancient cellars... More
