The positives: landscaping and cleanliness of the resort is superior. There are many tours and areas to easily explore from this location. Concierge services are excellent. There are no aggressive sale pitches/employees to avoid. The negatives: the apartments are dated and need renovation. El Med has horrible food and service. The beachside/pool restaurant is one step better. The best food... More

This is a super facility and great place for long or short break. Good points: lovely apartments really well appointed on good complex, lots of pools including adult only, security seemed good, outdoor games free of charge, Chill bar very nice. Not so good: ridiculously priced shop, ie wine at 50% more than the supermarket half a mile away, breakfast... More

Just back from 4 nights at the Marriott Marbella Beach Resort, a lovely spot for a family holiday. The 2 bed apartment we had was spacious and well equipped with very comfortable beds. Our apartment was a 1st floor near reception which actually turned out to be quite handy near the supermarket & take out restaurant. The resort is really... More

We took the family, 2 young kids to Costa del Sol in early April. The Marriott Vacation Resort is on par with similar properties around the world, which is very good. Large spacious apartments, lots of amenities. Resort was clean and very nice. Staff was great. Weather is still a little cool in early to be able to appreciate the... More

We stayed in a 1st floor one bedroom in May and we were very pleased with most everything. The great: Staff, large clean fully equipped apartments, gym, the QUIET pool(!), the weather! Fabulous restaurant called The Beach House right nearby. The not great: The nickel and diming by Marriott: There is a charge to get wifi of $9 euro/day/per device!... More

Marriott made us feel right at home while discovering the sights and flavors of southern Spain. The location on the Mediterranean Sea is excellent for family vacations. The property and service are great, as you would expect from a Marriott resort.

Boys weekend in Marbella- we came down from Switzerland for two days RnR....and this isn't exactly the first place one might chose, but the TA reviews were really positive. The Good: Really nice apartments with lots of space (each guy had his own bed and bath) Comfortable beds Convenient 'market'- prices are steep.... Nice clean pools - and several of... More

I'm a Marriott owner and have stayed at Marriott Vacation Clubs all over but considering this was Europe was a bit nervous. However, I was not disappointed. We had a 1st floor 2 bedroom villa which easily and comfortably fit 5 adults. Kitchen and bathrooms were newer and seemed very modern, all of which we used of course. Pools, dining,... More

Went with my family and had a great time. Service and cleanliness is outstanding. In-site dining options are diverse and very good, although there are very nice restaurants within walking distance. Concierge was very helpful to guide us through the vicinity touristic places and arrange a day tour to Tangier, Morocco.

What a great way to see the Costa Del Sol and surrounding areas. Start out with comfortable spacious rooms, beautiful grounds and pools, and then add a Marketplace that provides fresh hot Baguettes and pastries. Wow.
