The hotel makes you feel at home. We arrived late and they waited for us and kept a spot for our car. You should get the breakfast in the beautiful garden at least once to enjoy the view and drink a beer or wine in the garden in the afternoon. Make sure you make the time to enjoy the hotel... More

We spent several nights here after visiting Granada and we thought it was excellent. The place itself is very comfortable and immaculately clean. The family are very pleasant and helpful and the location was fine for us - very quiet- and we didn't mind the walk down the hill or up!. we would definitely go back. We were very pleasantly... More

The hotel is situated with a great view of the city and it has Malaga's probably nicest terrace. The staff is wonderful and very welcoming and rooms are cosy and neat. The breakfast is not to be missed. We warmly recommend this place!

I stayed here for 2 nights with my wife, and found it to be an excellent family-run guest house. The location is quiet, elevated above the City, with great views both from our room and the superb terrace. The rooms were clean, and the beds very comfortable. The owner speaks good English and was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and... More

Many thanks to Trip Advisor reviewers for your recommendations, this was a great find for a 3 day stopover in Malaga. It's not big, it's not plush and it doesn't have many facilities, but you get a great welcome and excellent hospitality from Victoria and, if you get room 104, a really spacious, clean room with a fabulous terrace balcony... Stayed at the Monte Victoria with my wife from Friday 5th October to Tuesday 9th. It's situated up a hill overlooking the Cathedral and the old town. It is a typical Spanish property beautifuly decorated and very clean. We stayed in a superior room on the first floor the room was newly decorated spacious and clean. It had a large... More

Some places are classy and well-run – full of lovely furniture, pictures and ceramics – set in a lovely building with a great view (in certain rooms) and a fabulous, simple garden/terrace. Monte Victoria is such a place. It's not central, with a bit of a walk uphill coming back, but unless that's an issue for you it probably keeps... More

We stayed in this totally renovated, small, family-run hotel for 7 days at the end of August and thoroughly enjoyed everything. We had one of the two larger rooms with a balcony and the additional expense was clearly worthwhile. The view of the city and the Gibralfaro is expansive and the evening breeze refreshing. The spacious, quiet room has been... More

Imagine having an impeccable home on the hills of Malaga with a beautiful garden and lots of antiques. This is what Monte Victoria feels like. Located on the hills above Malaga this villa offers an escape from the traffic and pollution of the town centre below. It’s half an hour walk to the centre, but really worth it if not for the fresh air then for the views. There is an infrequent bus stopping outside the hotel (the reception has the timetable) or if you... More
