We stayed at Cortijo Piedra in November 2011 and so this review is well over due! This holiday was a late booking and we definitely made the right choice. Cortijo Piedra is a lovely Spanish retreat with traditional Spanish features, a great garden and pool. It is surrounded by olive trees and mountains to one side. We stayed in the... More

We stayed with Anne and Jim for ten days in january looking for a quiet break, what we found was the magic of Andalusia and the beauty of their home. Set in the heart of olive country was the perfect centre for discovering Andalusia, the beautiful south coast and the interior where the roads wind through farmland dressed withe olive... More

My wife and I stayed at Cortijo Piedra over the new year for part of our honeymoon. We hoped for somewhere beautiful, quiet and relaxing after wedding hustle-bustle. Cortijo Piedra is all of those things - but excels at each - and then is so so so much more besides. The house is beautifully presented, full of little touches that... More

Our second stay in Cortijo Piedra was even better than the first time (See our first review). First time we stayed there im may of 2011. Because we loved it there, we returned in october 2011 with our whole familiy. The location is situated excellent for taking trips in the east of Andalusia. Every major city is a hour and... More

We have stayed in many B&B’s based on reviews on Tripadvisor and it is safe to say that this place is head and shoulders above them all. It is almost impossible to improve on the excellent comments and reviews written by others on the site The rooms are spotless and well appointed. We stayed in the Seville Room which has... More

Beautiful and tranquil location bested only by the hospitality and warmth shown to us by Ann and Jim. Easy striking distance of Malaga and Granada means there's plenty to see and do if you can drag yourself away from lovely pool and gardens.

We spent 4 nights in this cortjio and I can only say this was a great stay. Very friendly hosts, beautifull house, rooms, garden, swimmingpool, etc. We couldn't wish for more. Within a 5 minutes drive your into the centre of a small town with a couple of bars and restaurants. We have seen a few in spain but these... More

My partner and I spent a long weekend at Cortijo Piedra in July, and we've been recommending it to everyone since. Jim and Anne have created a beautful home and garden for guests to enjoy and they cannot do enough for you. Bedrooms and balconies are thoughtfully and stylishly furnished and the breakfasts by far the best I have ever... More

Although you would find Cortijo Piedra listed on Trip Advisor under 'B&B's in Malaga', a more representative search would be 'Top Class Tranquil Retreat, with impeccable hosts, accommodation and surroundings'. In the heart of the Andalucian countryside, surrounded by rolling mountains and olive trees, you will find a beautifully restored farmhouse. Such time and care has been put into the... More

I was travelling alone and looked for a small, friendly, beautiful and alternative place where I could spend my holidays in harmony, surrounded by nature and the culture of real Andalusia. At cortijo piedra, the owners Ann and Jim gave me a very warm welcome and even more than this.. nearly a feeling of family ( that im my case... More
