My family and I stayed 3 days in Oct at this seaside hotel. The rooms were fairly large and comfortable with a nice balcony overlooking the pool area. Also large and nice bathroom. The food at the hotel is mostly big buffet style and is really not worth the money - especially considering the many great restaurants you can find... More

We paid over €300 extra for a suite with a sea view which was probably a mistake as we couldn't really see... More

Holiday to PLAYABELLA SPA HOTEL Estepona. Well Playa del Sol-Villacana actually. October 2008 The trip from Malaga Airport was a little daunting as we had to hire a car for the week, airport shuttles weren’t available and Taxi’s wanted best part of €200 for the round trip. A hire car from CarJet.com was only €76 for six days, plus petrol... More

My husband and I spent 4 days at this hotel and enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel staff were very friendly, rooms were clean, the food excellent and the sun shone! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The only downside is that it is slightly out of town so you have to get a taxi to Estepona... More

We recently stayed at the Gran Hotel Playabella in Estepona. On the whole this hotel is very good and we enjoyed our stay. However, from day one we had the most horrendous smell in our rooms (140 and 142 on the ground floor) which was the smell of rotting veg/drains. We all smelt it throughout the first night and then...
