We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. This is an objective assessment. This hotel is in need of refurbishment. The rooms are old, musty smell and bedlinen old. Attractive large room. Bathroom fully tiled. A/c comfortable, but could not get truly cold(as we like to sleep)Nonetheless it worked. Lobby and bar area ---ok, did have outside seating, but on a heavily traffic'ed street. . Staff welcoming. Downside: not close to any historic attractions. At least a 20-25 minute walk. Stayed 23rd to 24th February 2004. Good service level all round. Check-in smooth, friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't included in our stay. Room was a very good size and the bathroom was enormous, one of the biggest I've used anywhere in the world.
