This hotel is perfectly placed in a historic building in the centre of Weimar and could be excellent. However, the furnishings are tired and scruffy, and our bedroom and bathroom were not very clean. The cellar restaurant was delightful, but is not open every evening. Breakfast is cheaper in one of the many good cafes in the town. More

The staff are amazing even making you forget that you're in Germany, which isn't the service capital of the world. The room was large and nice. I would have preferred if it had aircon given the road noise. Breakfast was probably the best I have had in an European hotel. I would stay here again. More
