This hotel is now called budget ibis budget Mainz. I found the person working not friendly at all. It is far from anything nice, but it was cheap. Had no problem with wifi. Shower, TV and bed was Ok. No telephone and just a code to enter the room and building. I believe check in closes at 10 pm.

Driving southbound between Amsterdam,ND and The Algau Region in Germany we were glad we chose this hotel for the night. Very helpful and friendly at the hotel. Super market next door if you wish to save a few pennies for breakfast. Not much around hotel but regular tram sdervice into city only 7 minutes walk from hotel. Free parking.

I stayed 1 night. You get what you pay for: a bed( one on top of the other), a shower, a clean room, a toilet, free wi-fi and tv. If you are claustrophobic, then this place will not be suitable as the toilet is small, windowless and makes you feel locked in. Although the room is small, it's clean and tidy. It reminds us of the days in a student's dormitory but with the added luxury of private facilities. The shower has a most interesting door with a hole... More

Pillows are to soft. Should consider having thicker pillows or two pillows for each bed. Shower area a little too cramp and no place to hand clothings inside shower. Not so suitable for two persons to stay in a room unless they are a couple.
