Very well located hotel close to the main tourist attractions and the Christams markets. All Christmas markets within walking distance, nearest only about 100m away. Visited Cologne on one day to see Christmas markets/cathedral etc. Well worth it, but I would recommend avoiding a Saturday for visting Cologne in Dec - absolutely packed. We recently stayed at this hotel for three nights over New Year. We arrived at approx 7pm, there was nobody at a reception so we had to check in at the bar downstairs. There's is no elevator -I think they should be more upfront about that on their site. We dragged 8 suitcases up 4 flights of stairs. Stayed there with friends and although the staff is nice and means well -the hotel is not a "hotel" -it's basically a Bed and Breakfast. WiFi is free and they issue as many WiFI codes... More
