I have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the course of the last 12 months, and always found the standards of quality to be consistent, and the service to be reliable. One of the best hotel options in the area.

Staying one night at Mercure Hotel Duesseldorf City Nord because of its proximity to the airport. Slow process at the front desk. Assigned to a smoking room when requested a non-smoking one. NO HOT WATER at all. When checking out, the receptionist showing her disbelief to what I said.

Hotel very clean and modern. Very good location, near Dusseldorf messe. Parking and wi-fi is with charge. The free wired internet available in the business centre is very low, not good. I will come back in the future.

I don't think I've stayed anywhere with such lovely staff, from the reception to the cleaners to the bar and restaurant staff, everyone was incredible personable, really polite and engaging, much better than any 5 star I've stayed at and not at all put on or false. Nice, clean modern hotel located 2 minutes walk from one of the main tram stops. Wifi was an additional cost.
