Brutally minimalist. My room didn't even have a shower curtain (perhaps it had been torn off and not replaced). Relatively cheap compared with Cologne's rip-off rates during trade shows. On the surface, the hotel staff are friendly and flexible. Indeed the lady who does the breakfast and the lady who cleans the rooms are both fantastic. Some of the receptionists were too.
