Our third visit here. A very good business or leisure hotel. The trams are so convenient for all parts of Cologne and only two minutes away from hotel. I was very disappointed with the bedding, a double bed would have been preferred, but they have unnatural top of mattress cover and duvet. It is very uncomfortable and sweaty. However, you... More

The room had a really squeaky and lopsided sofa bed instead of a bed. Didn't make for a good night's sleep, and no other rooms available to change to. It's also a bit of a trek to get from there to the Messe, and a 30 min walk to the centre of the city. However the breakfast was decent. Very... More

Dear Stephen, We sincerely regret that your stay at our Ameron Hotel Regent was not as comfortable as you had expected it to be. The room you have stayed in is one part of our “family rooms” which we use to create kind of separate living room. Our hotel has only 2 rooms with couch-bed and they are only used... More

Relatively small hotel, not far from downtown, surrounded by large office buildings. Great interior design, modern and stylish. The same is true for the guest rooms. I had an executive room on a higher floor, very comfortable, hardwood floors, great bathroom. Excellent coffee machine. Drinks from the mini bar include. Free internet (cable), no WiFi. Unfortunately no gym but there... More

A reasonable distance from the city centre, with little night life distractions in the area, this is a reasonable hotel for the business travellor. The staff are helpful and understand that the business travellor often needs sustanance outside of rigid hotel times. Rooms are of a decent size, have free wired internet and are above average in terms of comfort.... More

This is a business hotel. Rooms are 25 sqm including access area and bathroom and have wooden floors (my reason for choosing this place). They are clean, equipment generally works well. They seem to have only twin beds, but comfortable. Thick multilayer windows insulate efficiently from noise, but only two layers out of three can be opened; it is therefore... More

We booked this hotel for a short family break and found it to be very clean and quiet despite being next to a main road. Breakfast is expensive but on the corner is Cafe Bonnen which offers a good alternative for around 4-7 Euros. The executive rooms are on the higher floors with good views and also have a mini... Me and my girlfriend found this hotel to be an extremely good hotel. Despite it being more of a business orientated hotel and despite what you may read, it is tourist friendly! The tram is right outside and takes a couple of minutes to get to the centre, it isn't too far to walk either! My only critiscm are the... More

A decent hotel - quiet rooms, comfortable and nice breakfast and very busy on my visit mid week. The internet is shockingly bad though with it taking 2-3 mins to open a web page and no chance of me getting on the office network vpn without constant drop outs. The cable provided is very short forcing you to use your... More

Check in was a bit slow as there were about 30 people checking in at the same time from a bus, but everyone was taken care of efficiently. The room was a bit nicer than I expected and the breakfast buffet was really good with friendly service. Internet was slow but it did work. s The location is not really... More

Good points: The hotel is pretty well connected by tram to the centre, the bed was comfortable, the view was great from the 10th floor. The breakfast was also satisfactory, and the welcome drink a nice touch. Bad points: The bathroom had no shower door meaning the floor was unavoidably soaking wet. The shower head was so big and heavy... More

Dear S R, first of all thanks for your open minded and very valuable review. There are a lot small things we've solved with our team already today, such as the english newspaper, the cleaned card reader in the lifts or the water temperature setting. In regards to Wireless Lan througout the hotel i have some good news. The 24hrs... More
