Recently stayed here for a business meeting. Hotel is fine. Not a lot of character but nice enough. Old church in the centre of the hotel made a nice meeting location. Breakfast basic but fine. Rooms a good size. Lots of wooden floors so the place was a little noisy. Shower never really got hot enough. Nice enough but unremarkable.

Don't be scared of the old people--the hotel is great, and has a big pool, sauna, weight room, lounge with fireplace and attached restaurant. The breakfast buffet has everything you'd want. Within 5 minutes walk to the Stadthaus U-Bahn and the Altstadt, or a little more to the train station.

This hotel is an elderly home as well. As a result, it is very clean but has an old style and a strange feeling to it with alarm bells in the room for example. Personnel is very friendly and helpful. Nice to stay as a business traveller if your travel destination is nearby.

It is also a retirement house but it's confortable and well located.
