Highly Recommended Price reasonable Very friendly staff and location is perfect. Center of the town, close to everything you need. Breakfast is good and they even offer you free espresso.

When I am in Bonn on Business, I usually stay at the Insel. You can get taxis close to the hotel and there are a number of good restaurants around. The restaurant at the insel is also good.

When I'm on my business trip at Bad Godesberg, I prefer to stay at Insel hotel. It is located 3 minutes by walk from train station, so you can go to Bonn easily, 10 minutes; it might be important if you are here for business. Hotel - Situated in Bad Godesberg area, a bit far from Bonn city center. Rooms - Mine was a bit outdated, weird shaped. but with newly redecorated bathroom. Nice view from the room. Breakfast - Good. Bad Godesberg area is actually quiet and very nice, with some shops and restaurants.

Just a lovely stay! We spent two nights in Bad Godesburg (2 adults and our 14 yo son). We had comfy beds. The room was very clean, and my son had a little "alcove" for his bed. This is a good value for the price. The layout of the room was above average in terms of its convenience and efficiency. A great place to stay if one has business toward the Bad Godesburg end of Bonn. The staff in all parts of the hotel- check in, breakfast, bar, cleaning service- were friendly and attentive.
