Definitely not a four star hotel, old and old fashioned, very small bathrooms, smelly corridors ( everytime you pass through the smoking rooms corridors), poor breakfast.. Two good things though, staff very polite and helpful and very well situated

The best thing about this hotel is it's service, people are extremely nice. Breakfast is excellent and rooms are quite large for European standards. Very close to central train station and city centre. Has very good restaurants less than a block away. It is a bit old and out-dated, but not run down.

Mainly chose this hotel for the location as I would have early morning train to catch. The hotel interior and room decor is very old fashioned. Very overpriced for the quality of the rooms. Worst hotel of the 9 I stayed at during my trip around Germany. Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food.
