“Okay except for the cockroach”

A very healthy cockroach greeted me this morning by running over the bathroom mirror while I was brushing my teeth.. “If you can find it, it is well located, but average quality”

Had difficulty finding the small sign & if you are caught up in the Aachen traffic & one way system it's quite hard. The hotel is ideally situated for seeing the cathedral and the old town. Despite its central location, the very good double-glazing keeps outside noise to the minimum. “Great location, Pity about the sound proofing”

Food was good and location was great but sadly that is best I can say. Street noise in the room all night. Toilet in room had not been flushed. Wi-Fi despite costing 9€ extra failed most of the time and you can only use on device. Great place if you do not need to sleep or work.

Highly recommended. Stayed here for one night on a business trip. Hotel is very central, within easy reach of historic sights, restaurants and railway station. The room - a superior double - was huge and immaculately clean. Didn't have time for breakfast so can't comment but the position, staff, and the room were all excellent.
