The hotel is pretty old but well maintained. The rooms are big and clean. The lobby looks old and from another era but the staff are very helpful and nice. The Resturant is not so good and breakfast was not worth it. The beat part is the location as it is near the shops and restaurants.

It's in a great location and the building is beautiful. The rooms have absolutely no character and the bed was hard and lumpy. My room was very small and it was not a space to be comfortable in. It was bare and uninviting. It even had a Motel 6 type blanket on the bed. The type that is never cleaned... More

The rooms in this hotel are in desparate need of updating. The carpet was stained and worn in my superior room. Overall, the room was dirty. There was writing on the lampshade . The bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was 24 euros each! It was not worth it at all. The only thing that I can say positive about this... More

Probably as we are much younger than their typical type of guests since we entered the hotel we experienced just a great disapointment. Our room on the second floor was badly located, quite dirty, tired and with stains all over the bed linen, we had windows in the bathroom without curtains so we had to hang towels and our shower... It has been a while since I last stayed at the Schwarzer Bock Hotel and i was very much looking forward to it. Upon my arrival my excitement turned into disappointment very quickly. The colleagues at Front Desk were not very attentive or helpful although quite friendly. The rooms and corridors are looking like nothing had been done to them... More

This hotel is nice and nicely located. The breakfast is way overpriced at 24 Euro. They also have an interesting fee structure if you check out early. I made reservations for 5 nights and stayed for 4 nights. I checked out early on the Friday and was charged 90% of the room rate for Friday night because I was leaving... More

We chose this hotel because it is very close to "Kaiser Friedrich Therme" - just about 2min walk - and because it is not a very business like hotel, but rather traditional. We stayed only one night in Wiesbaden and wanted to experience affordable luxury in a hotel that fits the style of the city. "Schwarzer Bock" is a very... More

Very nice and elegant, a historical hotel. Excellent service and very polite staff. Super nice rooms, however, bathrooms were bit cold during the winter, however radiators were provided! Small contemporary pool from own local hot spring water with plenty of massage rooms. Room service menu little restricted and NOT 24/7. Plenty on offer nearby. Very cosy non smoking bar. Excellently... More

I have stayed in this hotel for 2 nights during my business trip to Germany. A front office staff is simpely wonderfull. They make you feel welcome in the first moment you come and they were professional, friendly, helpfull and competent during the whole stay. Rooms are clean, with nice furniture and good lightening. Two phones make communicating easier, but... More
