It's very strange that almost 20 years after internet took off, there are still hotels (last weekend in Kassel, Germany) that promise free wifi in the room but end up delivering nothing nowhere. On top of that we had a power break in the room that took them too long to repair.

The setting is delightful, especially in the Summer. Sitting on the terrace, having a drink or dinner, by the river is glorious. We had never heard of the River Falda but it is very pretty. At night no water in the shower on the 2nd floor. In the AM black fluid out of faucet. Desk personel seemed unsurprised, unconcerned when informed about it. Big room with terrace out to the Fulda River, very quiet setting.

The hotel is situated on a river bank with a wonderful view from the restaurant and some of the rooms. We checked in just before the kitchen was closed but managed to get a beautifully built salad - there was nothing else for vegetarians. Stayed there for one quick night and unfortunately had to leave early. The Hotel and restaurant are located right by the river and the views are just stunning.
