“Usual choice for a hotel in Darmstadt”

Usually stay at the Maritim Rhein-Main when I'm in the area on business. The hotel is well located, the rooms are well appointed and the staff are friendly and attentive. The hotel is beginning to get a little dated. The bar is wel run and usually has a good atmosphere. Prices are reasonable.

“Clean comfortable hotel for Darmstadt stays”

The Welcome hotel is clearly the standard in Darmstadt by which every hotel is rated. But it often booked solid. The Maritim Rhein Main is an acceptable alternative. Terrible group check in, takes forever, people at desk not very cooperative. Pricy internet. Outdated interior. Broken chair at desk in room, reception does not answer their phone, and on top: sugar to put in my coffee also contained salt.

If you need to stay in one of the Maritim Hotels, this one is better than the Maritim Konferenzhotel across the street.
