This hotel was one of the best I have visited. Even though it's just by a main street, you never noticed the traffic. And the rooms was wonderful! I will return there next time I am in Hamburg!

I have stayed at the Fritz Hotel several times. It's basic but sufficiently comfortable and spotlessly clean, the metro/subway/MRT/ubahn is just opposite the hotel, plenty of places to eat in the rather chaotic Schanzenviertel. We spent a great weekend in this hotel with a group of friends for a friends 30th birthday. The hosts were fantastic and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. I looked for a hotel in Hamburg and all hotels which I contacted were booked out or extremely expensives. So I was quite happy to find the Fritz-Hotel a clean accomodation with a touch of design for a normal price. Other advantages are : it is located very near the S-Bahn and the U-Bahn and so there is no problem... More

Very clean simple accommodation at a good price. We stayed here during the World Cup and prices did not seem to have been hiked up (or at least only by a reasonable amount if increased). The staff were really excellent and friendly. I really enjoyed the full breakfast, although it was a bit pricey by Hamburg standards. The only fault... More
