I felt very welcome here. Staff offered valuable information about the area - transport, eating places etc.Close to the u bahn, shopping and varied range of restaurants. The room was very spacious, well heated for cold Berlin days. Breakfast was excellent and really varied and delicious.

We stayed in the hotel and in 2 apartments, all clean, comfortable and good value with just a short walk to the KaDeWe and Kürfürstendamm. The apartment "Moulin Rouge" was a bit noisy, on the ground floor, but near a kids' playground and bakeries. We also had a little trouble controlling the shower temperature. We stayed 3 nights in this guesthouse which is located in an Berliner Altbau with high ceilings and a quirky old elevator. The rooms are spacious, clean and cosy. This hotel had very large, clean rooms, with an immaculate shared bathroom (we stayed in the Rock room). The breakfast was excellent. This was my second stay at Stars guesthouse; I returned due to the convenient location to transportation and the gay part of Schöneberg, and also because I enjoyed staying there the first time around.
