Great place to stay for a few days in Berlin. Quiet nice street off Kudamm. Close to U-Bahn, S-Bahn, buses. One minute from the bus to the airport. Nice restaurants and jazz club (A-Trane) nearby. Friendly staff.

If seek an old-fashioned atmosphere and you doesn't like mainsteam businesshotels, this is the right place in the mittle of West Berlin. Rooms, breakfast and service is basic, but you get what you pay for. There's a lot of cheep restaurants in the street.

Hotel Astrid's really conviniently located on a bus route from Tegel airport, the ride takes only about 20 mins. The area is a bit posh, but close to shopping and the Tiergarten park with good connections by inner-city trains.
