Some rooms are terrible, dull breakfeast and not very friendly staff. Avoid this hotel for much better ones in the vicinity.
I had a very pleasant stay at hotel Waizenegger. The location is very good in a chic neighbourhood. The old historic building where the hotel is located is very nice. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very nice in the morning. If I go to Berlin the next time I will stay in this nice hotel again!
I shall be staying at the Waizenegger for the n'th time on 23rd June. It's been my home in Berlin now for several years. I stay there 3 weeks at Christmas, and three in the summer, generally at asparagus time, and before the theatres go on holiday. My regular room was the original LARDER of the old flat, in this lovely...

I recently stayed at the Hotel-Pension Waizenegger with my wife during a visit to Berlin. Its in a fantastic location closed to public transport links and good shops and restuarants. We were met by the very friendly owner who asked us if we wished to speak in German or English and then he gave us a quick tour. Our room...

Perfect for short stay or for those people who value the city more then the hotel....it looks like a huge flat rebuilt into a small pension. I've contacted hotel staff before my stay as I needed fax with booking confirmation - everything was done within few hours. A member of staff contacted me on my arrival day, providing me with...

The en-suite room we had (number 5) was at the front of the building, but the road was quiet on a night and we never heard any noise from the other guests. The room itself was quite big, but the bathroom was tiny - the...

Complete front of building had large scaffolding and green mesh. Windows were covered with plastic.
First night we stayed in a room called Hackesche 2. A narrow room with 2 single beds (one which creaked and creaked). Of more concern was the lack of movement space between the beds. We requested another room the following morning. Called Hofe 1, this...

This small pension/hotel was very good located on a charming, calm street next to the Kurfürsten damm, very convenient to the local train that took you all the way to Schönefeld Airport (station Savignyplatz). We were very satisfied with the price.
I stayed here with my fella for 3 nights, and loved the location. 5 minutes walk from the Ku'damn, and the same from Savignyplatz S-Bahn station. The hotel is in a lovely,tree-lined street with clean + comfortable rooms, and a decent continental breakfast. Lots of restaurants and bars in the area.
There is no reception as such, but you are...
