I stayed in a suite, which was massive for one person and had a large balcony, but the tv was rather small for such a large room and international channels were limited. Broadband is free, but slow and breakfast is now €18 so don't bother and go out to one of the local cafes instead

I booked my stay on the night of arrival and I still got a deluxe room for just 69€ a night, without breakfast. Hotel is friendly and close to U-bahn stations Berliner Str and Guntzelstr which will take you quickly to Zoo and the rest of Berlin. I got a good deal in the weekend extender, including breakfast and minibar. Breakfast is very good and good quality toiletries are supplied in the bedrooms.
