If you arrive by S-Bahn or a train, head towards Europaplatz exit from a Hauptbahnhof. Just look to the left and you will see a "Motel One" sigh on a roof of a tall building. The rooms are simple but the price is nice for such a convenient location. I always add Eur 7,5 breakfast that allows me to enjoy... More

The rooms are tiny, but so well-designed, we didn't notice; so too the shower room. Possibly the only criticism in that respect would be the lack of ordinary hand-soap. Above all, for such a large hotel, we could have been the only people resident, so quiet was it. The "public" areas are brilliantly designed too. The bar is open all... More

Rooms are very clean. Nevertheless it is only good thing, I can say about this hotel. The most problematic is the rule, that the whole bill must be paid without a possibility or allowance to see the room. The room (also bathroom) is very, very small for two people, there is no place to store dress, except some small number... More

Spent only 1 night at this hotel. Conveniently located, across the street from the renovated train station. Very public transport accessible. Small rooms, immaculate and great showers. Breakfast was perfect and the staff very accommodating, efficient and friendly. After 2 years of living in Switzerland I almost forgot how nice people can be!

This hotel reminds the Ibis chain, at least with reference to the rooms, quite essential (no minibar, poor accessories). On the other side the reception area looks nice. Breakfast poor and few big tables to share with other people, like in a college. Not really worthy the price, nevertheless the hotel is easy to reach from schonefeld with the express... More

The location is excellent, as is almost everything else. Breakfast has all that one needs, without frills or laces. Reception staff are efficient, although i would not call them friendly. Internet is free with passwords valid for 24-hours, but not of good quality as the connection gets broken ever so often. Rooms are spartan, but adequate for a sleep-and-bath kind... More

This is the second motel one I visit and they both are exactly the same: no frills rooms with modern design, very small if you plan to stay long, (there´s no garderobe) but for a one or two nights stay they do well. Just opposite the main station and a short walk from the reichstag,Brandemburg Gate and Tiergarten, I found... More

Spent two nights in late October at this Motel One. Was very satisfied. Basic room but quiet (overlooking back garden). Despite the number of rooms, the buffet breakfast was typically German and well organised. Three separate buffets on the ground floor and plenty of seating and staff to clear plates. Location near Main station was important for me. Check-in was... More

Location is just 100 metres away from the Main station in Berlin. So no need for taxi to get to your hotel. Brand new hotel, superclean but rather small rooms. Excellent beds. And the TV which shows an aquarium when it is not on, is a nice touch. Very effecient and friendly staff. I was checked in and in my... More

Before I ever got here I had reservations because my wife booked this hotel. and told me it was a motel, very near a train station in a large city. It just conjured up the usual image of a sordid, dirty establishment, dull and dingy and full of the local detritus from the less salubrious parts of the city. Not... More
