We stayed four nights and were upgraded to a sixth floor suite. Spacious, modern, well appointed and the hotel well placed for visiting the sights. Local restaurants were good value and we greatly enjoyed our stay.

This was a happy surprise. A business oriented hotel, large room, comfy with lots of light, and a funky shower. Close to museum, Nue synagogue area, great restaurants of East Berlin. This hotel has a fabulous location. Just by turning right out the front door and walking a block you are on a major roadway with many shops and restaurant choices. excellent location, nice rooms, and decent upkeep are unfortunately matched with poor attitude of the staff who attempts to re-educate guests. Examples: when I arrived earlier I was not let into the room until the official check in time only because the room I was assigned to was blocked by mistake (according to the staff) till an hour before checkin... The hotel was nice, our room was a small one but was nice, just the bathroom was a bit old and the shower with no glasses but with a plastic curtain was not that hygienic! Stayed here for three nights and found it to be a great base for our first visit to Berlin. Our room was a good size, the only downside being quite a strong smell of cigarette smoke.
