We stayed for 5 nights at de Ela. Hotel is situated in the classic German building, it has spacious rooms, comfortable beds and matrasses. It is quite clean, quiet, and relaxing. It offers good breakfast (few sorts of ham and salami, cheese, fresh bread rolls, yoghurts, selection of tees, coffees and juice).
The hotel is situated in the Wilmersdorfer and...

I stayed in this hotel because a friend of mine recommended it to me. They got an informative site which offers incentives, discounts and special offers for guests booking direct with them. I took advantage of that, and, to my surprise, got a bottle of champagne on arrival – I thought it was beautiful!
My room was clean and well-decorated,...

Hotel de Ela is a very good Hotel. It is more of a Family-hotel though. There is no big brand behind it, rather a welcoming couple at reception desk.
I felt a little like at home, and not in the hotel. It is located in centre, it has a couple of U-Bahn stations next door, it is close to Ku-damm,...

On the bad: They charged us for everything except leaving our luggage for a couple of hours on the last day. Extra days that were their fault, extra bed that was already in the room... everything impossible...

The rooms are variable, some are large, very large, and some are very small - all at the same price. We had a double room that you couldn't swing a cat in, but having said that it was very clean. Did have a problem with the bed, think they should have taken it back to MFI, but that was fixed...

I stayed here with a group of friends in early May 2011. As a previous reviewer states, we ordered en suite rooms 8 months in advance yet they could not supply us with them on the day. That was after they had kept us waiting around for 3 hours after we arrived.
All we got in compensation was a few...

I booked this Hotel for a group of friends, who get together for a long weekend each May.
The location was really good, but the Hotel really let us down with room's, 13 en- suite were booked and confirmed by the hotel, but on arrival not all were available because they had been allocated to other guests, even though we...
