The hotel is a bit dated and the beds are actually really bad. The pillows are so lacking in volume that you have to fold them 5 times. Nice hotel in a good location with the amenities of the old dowager that it is. But at $29/d for internet (don't believe the "free" 15 minutes, it is slower than dial-up), $25/d parking and $25/pers. for a continental breakfast, this is not worth the plush lobby and doormen. very well located hotel . small but well appointed rooms. what we liked were the staff - their smile , promptness of service and their suggestions are their strengths . their reccomendations of the 2 eating joints and the sightseeing plan was just perfcet - my daughters liked it very much !
