Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

For me, the location of the hotel is ideal - a quiet street is a residential neighborhood close to attractions and public transport. The room was prettily decorated and fairly big, clean. The price was amazing given the location. The room was nice, pretty big. Shower / bathroom was good and there's good storage space for the luggage. There is a small fridge, safe, hot water pot and coffee machine in the room (with Nespresso). The wifi worked well in my room. There was no internal or external noise, except when the sirens goes by. There's parking at the hotel but I saw parking in the street as well. The hotel is a short walk from most of the sights (10-15 minutes) - Museum Is, Alexanderplatz, Berlin Wall Memorial, and a long walk / short ride to the central train station, Brandeburg Gate, Potsdamer Platz. It's pretty easy to get to the airport by train, the S9 stops at Friedrichstrasse and you can take a one-stop ride on the U to Oraineburger Tor. That's the closest transit hub to the hotel I think. It's a long 2.5 blocks walk from there. The tram there will take you to Central Station or Alexanderplatz. There are many restaurants and breakfast places nearby. I really liked the falafel place downstairs; it's usually busy so that's always a good sign (it's fairly inexpensive). There is a supermarket across the street. You don't really see the staff often but what little interaction I had with them, it was positive. The woman that checked me in was super nice. Check-in / check-out was painless. I wish they would let you use the coffee machine in the lobby.

Great hotel, with a lovely team of people. Booked to stay here for three nights whilst in Berlin to take part in the 2023 BMW marathon. Perfect location for the race but also close to a number of great local restaurants and bars. Also close to public transport links for sightseeing. There was so much choice locally! The breakfast served in the hotel was really very good. Had the option of freshly cooked scrambled eggs every morning, along with lots of choice for breakfast including fresh fruit, croissants, meats and home made yoghurts and desserts. Room was also very nice, comfortable bed and a huge TV. Shower was also very good and appreciated post marathon. Would recommend and will definitely stay again if in Berlin. Thanks so much for care and customer service. A really good guest experience, reception even let me borrow a European phone adapter after an issue with mine . 👍

Calm, relaxed, superb location and everything in just wonderful taste. The staff were helpful when you needed them but apart from that completely unobtrusive. Our room was roomy with two comfy armchairs for relaxing.

Everything about this hotel was perfect for us: the location, the room, the staff. 7-10 min walk to public transit, 10 mins to Berlin Wall Memorial Visitor Center, 15 min walk to Pergamon Museum, 20 mins to DDR museum, many amazing restaurants, bars and cafes around the corner (best breakfast at Nomad). The room was spacious, modern, and comfortable with a flat screen TV, radio/stereo, Nespresso coffee maker, fridge, closet, hooks. The bathroom is spacious as well, and in addition to soap and shampoo also includes Q-tips and cotton rounds. The staff is very helpful and friendly and courteous. We didn't get the buffet breakfast as we like to explore local cafes and restaurants, so I can't comment on that. The hotel is on a side street, in a leafy neighborhood that doesn't seem touristy, but has a lot to offer in terms of food and drink. The AC works really well in case you need it.

I had a lovely trip to Berlin in late June and had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Adelante. Jost and his crew from the front desk, breakfast and housekeeping were very helpful, friendly and approachable. The hotel is located well and away from the hustle and bustle. I had lovely room which was large with minimal furniture, good storage space and air conditioning. The bed was comfy and I had good nights sleep each night. The bathroom was large and had a very good walk-in shower. The room also had soundproofing and blackout curtains. The breakfast had good options and made a good start to the day. I would certainly stay at the Hotel Adelante the next time I visit Berlin.

nice hotel at a central place with a modern and attractive designe. We had a cosy room with a nice bathroom. Very nice girls working at the reception. They answered all our questions. The breakfast place was not comfortable. The lady serving breakfast smelled like cigarette smoke and fried bacon.

Although the downstairs was being renovated it did not detract from a very comfortable stay. The hotel have just been freshly renovated. The rooms are very spacious, well sound proofed and with the most comfortable beds imaginable. A lovely shower and spacious bathroom and a huge TV. The front desk were very friendly. The hotel is really well situated on a quiet road but with easy walking distance to the Museum Island and there are numerous eating options near by.

This is a really nice hotel, stayed with my wife on a city break. Lovely rooms, fantastic breakfast very friendly staff absolutely no complaints at all. It's quite a small hotel but well run and has a small but well equipped gym. The hotel is clean neat and tidy and the rooms are well decorated, even so chatting to the manager on checking out they are renovating, not that its needed, the rooms over winter and should all be finished by spring. We intend to return to Berlin hopefully next year and this is the hotel where we'll be staying.

Great mini break couldn't have picked a better location. Walked to most of the sights although close to transport for getting about. Hotel was spotless and staff helpful. We didn't eat breakfast in hotel as wanted to get straight out to explore, supermarket across the road had fresh pasteries daily which was ideal for us. Will definitely stay again when re visiting Berlin

This was my second stay at Adelante and it's just as recommended as my initial visit. The location of the hotel is an immediate selling point. With a direct train from Brandenburg Airport, the hotel is either a short walk or subsequent local train away once you arrive in central Berlin. Similarly, many local amenities and attractions are within walking distance or a short train ride away. If you're in Berlin for a short visit, it's a perfect location to minimise time travelling around the city at the expense of actual attractions. The hotel itself is modest yet ticks all the boxes for quality accommodation. Rooms are clean with an uncluttered layout and minimal furniture. WiFi was good throughout the hotel and the gym was more than sufficient for my workout. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to Berlin and it's a great choice in the city.
