Hotel Sonne is a family run inn and this is reflected in many ways. The location, room, breakfast, and service were everything we expected of such a highly rated hotel. Every member of their staff went out of their way to be helpful. Their number one rating is well deserved.

Loved our stay. We stayed in a triple room and was very comfortable.The breakfast is amazing!!! Wonderful selection. We only stayed one night but wished we stayed longer! The location is so convenient too!

very unusual boutique hotel had to be the best in fussen.its like stepping back in time. we had wonderful views of the alps from our balcony. gettin there from munich was an experience on the train which clanked and banged the whole way there. people are v helpful and speak great english.

Stayed here for the 2nd time and was very happy with the choice both times. Nice rooms (some may say too modern décor, but really comfortable anyway), great location in the very center with parking on site, *very* good buffet breakfast (far away from all other "continental" options) + sauna on the top floor. perfect location for exploring the town... The place has a bavarian hospitality touch, everyone knows you and greets by your name. Rooms are new with excellent decor - large and sunny. We had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant which serves excellent authentic food.
