Fab hotel first class service just returned from having a great 3 days with friends hotel staff from the reception to the bar staff couldnt of been nicer hotel restaurant in the vaults is well worth a vist only had one compliant I would of preferred if that had a turndown service of a night fresh towels etc

I had a few nice days in Munich. I don't remember any annoying things except a noisy outside the window by the nights. Fortunately the weather was rather cold and I closed the window. The staff was very helpful.

The main advantage of this hotel is its location, some 300 mts from the city center. It is confortable, the staff is helpfull and friendly, and breakfast is good. The hotel restaurant is fine. Once I return to Munich I'll certainly stay in Platzl again.

Nice hotel in the centre of Munich. Close to the main city attractions, and 5 minutes to the subway, and 15 minutes to the central train station. Great walking streets around the hotel. Great service. Good breakfast. Small but clean, well-appointed rooms. Complimentary parking in Altstadt which was a great bonus. Great nightlife at the back door - Hofbrauhaus and Hard Rock Cafe. And many sites within easy walking distance from hotel.
