We needed a place near the main railway station for a one-night stopover and the City Hotel satisfied in every way. The staff was especially helpful, and it was great to have internet access, not just WiFi adjacent to the lobby. Breakfast was more than ample, and it is within walking distance of Marianplatz.

This is a 3 star superior hotel next to Munich Main Station. It provides good value for money in a comfortable position. The hotel looks a little bit old from outside. But inside the rooms are refurbished and in very good condition so far.

Stayed there for one night in transit. Since we reached there late in the night we decided to stay close to main station. It was a dirty hotel with dirty sorroundings. It was sheer waste of money. I would never recommend this hotel to any body. Just stay away from this dirt.

I just returned from a trip to Munich for the Oktoberfest. The hotel is within walking distance of everything you would want to see. Room was spotless, Staff was very friendly and spoke English. Also have onsite parking and a great breakfast buffet. I would definitely stay again. Rooms were basic but who stays in the room that much anyway.... More
