=Accommodation: A room and a bathroom with modern decor. Nothing special but then uncluttered too. Located on the quiet(er) pedestrian street side. =Location: Central Munich with a U-bahn station and a tram stop nearby. Entrance through a pedestran throughfare (instead of the busier city street side) a nice touch. =Other: The free WiFi only available in the lobby area. =Personnel:... More

The location of this hotel is really just perfect, central in the city (minutes from karlsplatz and Marienplatz). Just a street over there are plenty of restaurants, fast food or sushi, a hookah (shisha) bar. Within walking distance of many clubs or bars, but still a quiet location! I know Munich really well, and this is really the perfect location... More

On my trip around Europe, the Motel One was a great choice for a stop. The hotel was really nice, and close to everything. I loved the rooms. Nice beds, super nice washroom with a rain shower, all in all just a nice experience. The staff was really helpful. It was a really quiet stay. Our room faced a courtyard,... More

Motel One is a very modern and stylish hotel and is excellent value for money. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The hotel is in a great spot and is only a short walk to the main bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel bar is very nice and well priced.... More

Loved the Bar and the Reception together. Good Value Breakfast, complementary wifi, accssibility to mass rapid transport and a quick getaway from Munich to Salzburg the next morning. Great concept and would love to have Motel One manage our Hotel at Bangalore of a similar star rating.

Stayed 7 nights here (Cut short from 8 nights) when visiting Munich recently. I can say that they were very accommodating when we requested that our last night be cancelled - they refunded the night in full to us, no questions asked. Why did we decide to cut our stay short? Well, for a few nights the cramped room, small,... More

Stayed here in dec 2010, after having escaped the blizzard in New York City. The hotel is clean, inexpensive, and efficient. The subway is half a block away. The center of town (marienplatz) is a 10-15 minute walk away, with lots of shopping, eating along the way. If you get a city view room , you will get a nice... More

Stayed for one night, the place is relatively easy to find, and enjoys an excellent location just next to the Sendlinger Tor, and a few minutes walk away from some friendly cafés, shopping and hangout areas, and literally 2 minutes from the U- and S-Bahn stations. It is advisable to book a parking space in the underground parking if you... More

Stayed for two nights Reception staff very helpful and friendly on check in. Rooms are very clean, well decorated and the bathroom fittings are first rate. No safe in the room but adequate storage ( there's a small clothes rail huffed behind one side of the very comfortable bed ) Location is superb, right near to trams, underground and trains... More
