A lovely Gästehaus. The room was clean and well-appointed, the bed comfy, the location convenient (with free parking outside), breakfast delicious (with lots of local produce - always a plus), and the hostess welcoming - what more could one want? I'll certainly come back if I am in the area again.

We had a lovely one-night stay at Gästehaus Richter. Paula was a very warm and friendly host who kindly provided tips about dining in Oberammergau and visiting Linderhof. We echo all the good things other reviewers have said about Paula and her Gasthaus. It was perfect in every way. Room was large, bed comfortable, breakfast fantastic, great hostess, free parking outside, free WiFi and very quiet at night. I recommend this Gastehaus for anyone looking for quality accommodation in Oberammergau. It is only a 5 minute walk from the town centre, in one direction, and from a useful complex of supermarkets in the other. My husband and I stayed 2 nights here in early April 2012...We highly recommend this B&B!!! The bed was nice and comply, breakfast was fantastic and very filling! It was spotless! A wonderful place to stay. Paula really knows how to take care of her guests. Her family is involved in the Passion Play and she is most happy to tell you all about it.It is a shame we could only stay one night. Rooms are on the third floor, not good for old people. Otherwise highly recommended.
