A hotel full of charm and history. Beneth the hotel are a series of tunnels conecting to the former houses of famous German officers of WWII. It is only a short walk to the Eagles Nest transportation center. Frau Strafenberg who operats the hotel provides an excellent breakfast and warm hospitality. We have never stayed anywhere quite like this hotel. The honesty bar was unusual and we met many other travellers there. A unique place to stay, just read the letters on the wall....Friendly and professional, a tad expensive (exchange rate problems) but well worth the experience, glorious scenery.
