In a picture perfect tourist trap as Berchtesgaden it can be difficult to find reasonably priced accommodation. Hotel Grünberger comes close. Even though our room was too small for the price, the service was inpeccable. Also the pool and sauna was clean and nice. The staff was very helpful and cheerful.
