Nice location overlooking Freiburg. Wireless internet did not work, and instead of an immediate offer of a refund I was told to phone the internet supplier myself, which proved fruitless in any case. Restaurant food was good but overpriced. Fortunately we got the room at an offer price,as at full price I would have felt short-changed.

Could be a few problems trying to find the hotel the first time, but well worth it when you arrive just for the view onto Freiburg. Must be great in the summer. The food in the restaurant was very good both in the evening and at breakfast. Rooms are very old fahioned and need renovation. Wifi did not work very well and was charged extra € 7.95. Great location and exceptional service would like to have seen some less pricy meal options on menu but managed to find a good quality dish every evinging. Aall in a great stay at a very good hotel with staff that were all very helpful and friendly.

The hotel is on a hill overlooking Freiburg. It is a good Mercure standard, with all necessary amenities.
