Nice comfortable room. Even had America tv channels :).Comfy bed and nice shower, heated towel rack. Requested coffee in our room and was sent up in seconds, hot and with a nice pot and cups. Breakfast was fine, normal euro breakfast. Was a short walk to center of town. Dress to impress....was a bit fancier than we expected throughout the... More

To get to the hotel when you arrive from departures (Baden Baden airpark) head for a sign saying bus and you will be able to get a single ticket to Baden Baden 2.90 Euro. The 205 bus stop is right outside with a bus every 1 hour. If you get off at Leopoldplatz and then head left towards a park... More

It is like Ryanair, expect to pay extra for each little additional service (parking, scrambled egg for breakfast, "complimentary" water, kurtax). However, the people working there are very nice. Its probably just the owners fault why the hotel is just average. Here some further offs: floors look old, special request was confirmed but only done after asking again, TV is... More

Thank you very much for taking your time to write this review. We are always seeking to keep our prices as reasonable as possible and offer our guests the best possible value for money. So our parking spaces in the center of Baden-Baden, where the parking possibilities are very limited, cost just 9,- Euro / night (or 4,50 Euro /... More

Our room was comfortable and quiet. (Room 303) Dinners were good and not expensive at all (for the area). The only thing that bothered us was the WiFi that just wouldn't work on the 3rd floor...so if you have work to do, make sure you don't go to the 3rd floor...there will be no internet there... One thing to be... More

This was an excellent base for our stay in Baden-Baden. Completely quiet at night, but just few minutes' easy walk from the thermal spas, town centre, Christmas market and Casino. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the rooms spotlessly clean. My computer-obsessed husband was relieved to find fast and free internet access in the room. The only quibble was that... Hotel Merkur is lovely little hotel in a quiet side street, but just a minutes walk from the city centre. Being a small hotel, you are made to feel very welcome and the staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. Our room was very comfortable with modern furnishings. The breakfast each day featured a huge array of food, all... More

The location of the hotel is excellent - in a quiet street right near the pedestrian areas of the town. May be difficult to find by car, as it is in a one way narrow street (down a hill). We had a GPS in the car, so I can't tell from personal experiense how difficult it is to find. By... More

We were quite impressed by our room at this hotel. It was more like a small apartment with a hallway to hang coats at the entrance, separated bathroom, a living room/office area and large bedroom with lots of storage. Our view was absolutely horrible but we don't typically spend time staring out the windows. As usual in Germany, our queen... More

Hotel is just off a main street on a quiet side street and no more than a 5 - 10 minute walk from the heart of Baden-Baden and the baths. Rooms are on the small side - would probably opt for deluxe next time - but very clean and modern. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking access was convenient.... More

The hotel is right in the center, with only a few minutes walk to all the main attractions. We managed to get a parking place (9 euros per day) right in front of the hotel which was perfect, but the space is really crammed so owners of big cars might have a tough time fitting in, and there was only...
