So... I will start by saying that I'm an American that has lived in Germany for two years and a frequent traveler. If you are the same you will LOVE this place. If you are not... this place might not be for you.
I'm giving them a 4 just based on the customer service! I don't think I've been treated...

Excellent price and excellent hotel. It's 5 minutes walking distance from the Caracalla SPA and shopping center. It was very quiet and our room had a lovely balcony overlooking the garden. Our room was a non-smoking room. It was very clean. The TV only has 1 English speaking channel (CNN). We didn't care because we went to Baden Baden to...

The hotel is a 10 min walk to the center which is not so bad however the hotel was very shabby. We got room 304/305 they both had balconys but there were cowebs and dust everywhere, the lamps did not work in one of the rooms.

We were looking for a nice, relaxing getaway for a long weekend and booked this hotel. It is up on a hill and only a 10 minute walk to the city center. The walk was nice since the weather was so nice. However, the hotel is very dreary, dark and depressing. It also has a stinky odor. The day I...

Our hotel was completely renovated in 2005 and 2006. All subject rooms as well as the public rooms are formed in the Mediterranean style. Warm colours from yellow about were used orange up to various red tones of the different materials. Of course smells are not avoidable partly by new equipment, but maybe the aromas for good sensations of our...

An oldish hotel, situated in a wooded area a little way out of town, hence a peaceful and quite location. Bathrooms are small with a shower over a bath tub. Breakfast is a typical continental breakfast, being adequate, but with not much variety of choice.
My wife and I live here in Germany and this is one of our favorite cities. Kappelmann's is the only hotel we have returned to in our many visits. The staff is very friendly and the meals are one of the things I look forward to when we set up a weekend stay. The thermals are less than a 10...
