Stayed here on two separate nights in December. We had a duplex room which has a double bed on an upper level at the top of a wooden staircase. Not ideal if you have a toddler, luckily ours wasn't quite at the stair climbing stage but had to be watched whilst upstairs. The room was ok, the bathroom was tired...

Located close to center of Valence so it is an easy walk to sights and restaurants. There is no longer a fitness room nor a restaurant at the hotel. Breakfast was mediocre, not as fresh as I have had at other European hotels. Rooms were not decorated but clean. Watch out for the shower, it is a hand held shower...
