We had read some of the poor reviews here but decided to give Brussels a try due to the location and having stayed there many years ago.
Unfortunately since then they’ve had a tacky makeover using faux-wood carpet (yes carpet), ugly leather sofas and an abundance of velvet lights.

The only reason for staying at this hotel is the location which is right on the piste; otherwise don't bother. The staff at reception are cold and unfriendly - any requests are treated as a nuisance.
