I really enjoyed this hotel on the edge of old Lyon. Friendly considerate staff, fresh croissants and bread and decent coffee for breakfast, comfortable room. The building is historic Guignol with spiral staircase and no lift, part of the charm. Take advice from the staff about good places for traditional Lyonnaise food.

Very good - located in a15th century building, with a spiral staircase. But no elevator. Charming and a bit quirky, with small rooms overlooking a small courtyard. Modern en-suite facilities. Unfortunately a neighbouring renovation had cut the broadband cable! Good cheap breakfast for about 5 Euro. Friendly staff with good English.
