My arrival at the Mercure Grenoble Centre Alpotel was disappointing. I arrived late on a Sunday evening, was starving and very much looking forward to room service or at least dinner in the hotel restaurant. Neither was possible, as the kitchen was closed that day. The receptionist pointed me towards a restaurant in the area, but this one was also... More

Not very impressed with the service. Superior room very basic, small bathroom, no safe, plastic glasses for minibar, limited number of coathangers in extra tight wardrobe. heating system not working properly. Be ready to handcarry your luggage yourself. Just a hotel to stay overnight but nothing to expect.

A very clean and comfortable hotel. Staff were always asking if everything was ok. Good selection for breakfast. Also had evening meals in restaurant. Food was tasty and well presented but a little expensive.

We went to a wedding and had a floor of the hotel! The hotel near to the old town, service was good, staff friendly.... Down side, rooms a little on the snug side, no extra mirror in the bedroom so bloke had to wait while I got ready in the bathroom. All in all lovely place, just right for what... More

Having just stayed in Hilton hotels for two weeks, I am not very impressed with this hotel. It is nice and clean and OK, but the rooms are tiny. There is not even room for somewhere to put my suitcase - it is currently on the very small round table in the room, as there is no room to just... More

The hotel is conveniently located in close proximity of the old part of the city with good access to Grenoble's tram. The on-site restaurant is not very good unfortunately. At the arrival we wanted something light, the vegetable soup was not a soup at all. Additionally the private apartments above the hotel (hotel is located in 5 out of 10... More

This was a great place to stay if meeting at the conference center. It's equal distance from downtown and the train station and the center. The rate is very reasonable and the rooms spacious and modern and comfortable. The restaurant was fine and they had some good wines. The breakfast was great but a bit expensive.

The hotel is OK although the hallways look a bit outdated. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The restaurant is also reasonable. Location is very good with easy access to trams lines A and C. Overall, this was a good experience for me.
