Wasnt sure what to expect but 6 of us took a dorm and were perfectly comfortable. The bar serves cheap beer for two hours every night as well as live sport. The staff are friendly and the food, included in the price we paid., was excellent value. Would 100% recommend to those travelling to Chamonix with a strict budget.

The gite is easy to find, with the centre of Chamonix, just 5 minutes walk away. The girls working there are very helpful and the bar downstairs has an amazing array of drinks to be had. Vagabond advertise on there web site low price, Lonely planet have low price listed, even at the door they have notice of low price but watch out they charge 18 euro base per night then the breakfast is compulsory extra charge as is linen charge extra 4.5 euro per night.
