We are four good friends and we booked the roomy upstairs one bedroom apartment and a separate downstairs bedroom for a week’s stay in September 2012. We all arrived tired after a long flight and drive from Marseilles and were warmly greeted by our hosts, Carrie and Richard, who were very helpful throughout our stay. Le Mas des Tourterelles is... I've traveled with my family (five people in total) and we stayed about a week at Richard and Carrie's place. We rented the main apartment (kitchen and bathtub) and two more rooms. We had a great time there and everybody was comfortably accommodated. The kitchen is really fully equipped, the beds were good and it's really central. Our only tip... More

Visited 60 countries, spent hundreds of nights in small hotels and B&Bs and can think of very few B&Bs that match Le Mas de Tourterelles, and I'm a harsh critic. Carrie and Richard are great hosts: Carrie's jams for breakfast, Richards photograhy in the rooms, and their restaurant and local knowledge is freely given. Although Americans should note that their... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Las Mas Tourterelles and would highly recommend it to anyone. We stayed in a room with a view of the swimming pool and more importantly the Alpilles, which I would recommend over the rooms with a view of the other side. The room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and a spacious... More

Whilst we really don't have any complaints about mas des tourterelles our room by the sound of it was probably the least attractive on offer. The window looked out to the back neighbours and whilst it was nicely kept and presented was quite basic. The bathroom was v small but perfectly clean and presented. Pretty details of lavender soap and... More

We stayed at many places during our several week trip to Europe, and this was one of our favorites. Although fairly small, our room on the ground floor had a lovely simple and clean feel. This small B&B had a very peaceful feel, and was well located a short walk from town, which was important to us. The grounds were... More

Thanks to Richard and Carrie for a delightful stay at Les Mas des Tourtelles, St Remy. We stayed a couple of nights in September and it was hot! The vine covered pergolas, pool and calm, cool colours of white and sandstone throughout provided welcome respite from the heat and tourist activities! Breakfast of fresh seasonal fruits, yoghurt, croissants and a... More

We were a party of two couples, good friends who have travelled together before. We booked this B&B for a week after much investigation, settling on the Tourterelles due to its perfect location, and ammenities for our needs. We were able to explore the area and surrounding sights without having to drive long distances. We couldn't have chosen better! We... More

We booked 9 nites with Richard and Carrie at le Mas des Tourterelles in September not knowing that this was some sort of record for length of stay! Our plan was to use this as our base for exploring Provence. We were on target! We took off on a new adventure each day - all within at most an hour's... More

Had two nights here and wished we could have stayed longer. Richard anc Carrie were so welcoming and we truly intend to go back as soon as we can. St Remy is a lovely little town with lots of bars and restaurants - there was a jazz festival on when we stayed, so lots going on. Ideal base to explore... More
